MARGATE

 

For this project I headed

to a small English seaside town by the name of Margate. I was asked

re-create this town and to give it a visual identity.

 

This project massively involved me using Photoshop and InDesign.

 

I really enjoyed the distortion aspect of the design, which I linked to Margate as a key feature. This is because I came across lots of run down, abandoned or funny looking habitats, which is where I came up with the idea of designing your own space so these unused spaces could be put to good use.

This project is unfinished in the terms of how far it could go. The design aspect I believe is done but to follow through the idea for the transformation of unused spaces in Margate would be cool.
